Metabolomics

The metabolomics platform is equipped with high precision instruments such as ABSCIEX TripleTOF@6600 Quadrupole Composite Ultra-High Resolution Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometry and Absciex QTRAP 5500 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry. The platform integrates a variety of analytical techniques, enabling qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecule metabolites in various organisms at multiple levels and perspectives, and combines pattern recognition and other informatics means to obtain corresponding biomarkers by analyzing the differences in metabolic fingerprint profiles of organisms in different states (e.g. before and after treatment of wild-type and mutant in different growth environments), and to discover unknown metabolic pathways or to gain more insight into currently known metabolic pathways.
