There are 35 artificial climate chambers, including germplasm repositories, verbalization laboratories, various crop culture rooms and overhead light culture rooms, etc. These chambers comprehensively apply the principles of biological science, information science, management science and control science to control the climate chambers using advanced intelligent sensor technology, PLC technology, variable frequency control technology, computer PID control technology, joint intelligent control technology and network communication technology, etc. The control system adopts a 2-layer network topology, with SIMATIC S7-200 smart PLC + touch screen on the bottom layer and an IPC + big data cloud service software on the top layer. The HTTP protocol is used between the top and bottom computers to jointly control light, temperature, humidity, air pressure, gas composition and other relevant environmental factors to accurately simulate the natural environment and reproduce various climate conditions. The artificial climate chamber is not constrained by natural conditions such as geographical location and seasonal climate, and can shorten the research cycle, ensuring stable, controllable and high-quality plant growth, achieving high efficiency, energy saving and high yield, and providing controllable growth conditions for the application of plant gene editing technology in field crops.
